Infertility Support and Discussion
| Hi- does anyone have information (links appreciated) on the odds of conceiving with frozen embryos? |
| I think it depends on a lot of factors (stage at which the embryos were frozen and embryo quality, whether you've been pregnant before, etc.). We cycled at Shady Grove, where they freeze all embryos on Day 6. I have been pregnant before and we were told by the RE that the chance of conceiving if we transferred two of the thawed embryos was about 30-40%. |

I think it also depends on how good the lab is at freezing the eggs, as well as how selective they are.
And, obviously, your age when the eggs were retrieved will be a factor. |

PP here. Posted too soon.
So in terms of stats, the best stats for you are frozen stats for the clinic that froze the eggs. I think that can be broken down by age group, although if the clinic is small you won't have a large enough number for it to be statistically significant. |
