Anyone tried moringa?

My supply went down by half. I did reliably have extra before, but having it cut in half was rough. I’ve tried all the pumping tricks (which have helped some) and am still a little short most days. My stash is dwindling and I’m going to start stressing over it which of course won’t help. I talked to a LC and she mentioned supplements if pumping tricks don’t work. This was one she mentioned that I hadn’t heard of. Would love to hear how it worked (or didn’t).

yes, i tried moringa. and also fenugreek. neither did much for me -- it was power pumping over several days that got it to go up again.

i'm so sorry you're dealing with this. moringa is def worth a shot.

I took a lot of Legendairy milk supplements and they really do work. Liquid Gold and Pump Princess were my favorites. I also though the cookies at Target in the lactation aisle worked well.

I did all the supplements. The only thing that worked was drinking like half a gallon of milk a day.

Staying hydrated (Gatorade) and pumping worked for me.

Eat enough carbs. Seriously. BM is mostly carbs. Depending on your activity and how many weeks you are you need to add 500 calories to normal so most women needs 2300-2800 calories while breastfeeding for the first 12 weeks.

Thanks all. I was great until 3 months. I’ve read that’s the point your supply gets established/regulates and it can mean a reduction. I guess that’s what happened but it was literally overnight. I doubt I’m getting back to where I was, but I would like to cover her actual needs, of course. All the pumping has helped, but I’m still a bit short. Trying not to get too stressed, but so hard. I had issues with supply with my first and figured out what went wrong and was doing so great this time (or so I thought) and then POOF. Back to the point where I will definitely cry over spilled milk...

I’m definitely eating and drinking plenty. I’ve know more about oatmeal, fenugreek, blessed thistle, and fennel. And the various teas. Just not that familiar with moringa.
