Travel on Christmas weekend

Any place you recommend for travel with a 2 year old? Affordable, festive, maybe driving distance? For 3-4 days. I need ideas. Thanks.

New York City - you may be able to get a good deal esp if you stay outside in NJ and take train into city for the day. WE are heading down to Williamsburg, VA for the weekend.
