| Can anyone share their experience at Arlington Montessori House this year? We are considering AMH for our 3 year old but that DSS inspection report linked above is very troubling. |

I direct a center - not that one. I read the Sept 2019 complaint and results and I wouldn't choose that program! Now, just in case something is vastly different 5 months later, I'd directly ask the director (in person not via email) what s/he has done as a direct result of the demeaning language was found to be valid. And then sit back and listen to the answer. And then decide. But, yikes.
but I'll tell you, teachers have a REALLY HARD time reporting each other. If 4 teachers said it happened, and it was REPORTED TO LICENSING (although of course the report could be a parent, not a teacher) then I'd take it very seriously. |
