Gifted Services/testing in Arlington

Anonymous
Okay ... I will be that parent who asks the annoying question the first day of school. My son just started second grade. When he was privately tested for ADHD late last year, his test results showed he was twice exceptional and recommended gifted services. It was too late in the school year to submit the parents' request for gifted placement, so we figured we would just take care of it this year. I believe all second graders undergo some sort of gifted testing in the fall, but I don't know any details. Can anyone please share their info about which tests the second graders take and the timing of the tests? Given my son's ADHD, it would be helpful for me to know a little more about the test to make sure he performs to the best of his abilities. Thanks.

Cross-posting is prohibited on DCUM, so if your stupidity is hereditary, I wouldn’t worry about this.

Oh girl. Many aps schools have gifted Id rates of 30%. Gifted services aren’t a thing really. The test is nalgiri or naglatori and it’s bs too. AAP is totally different.
