Madeleine Westerhout - What's the deal?

She was Trump's personal assistant, privy to sensitive information, personal interactions with Trump and his various activities at the WH. Also had inside access to Trump's kids and their dealings. Reports are saying that she spoke "off the record" to a journalist at an "off the record" dinner. She was fired immediately.

We all know in that any savvy journalist or a person dealing with the media that nothing is off-the-record. According to CNN, "She also carried immense weight in the West Wing. If reporters wanted to request an interview with the President, they often went around former press secretary Sarah Sanders and called Westerhout."

I think there is way more to this story.

Is it coincidence the story of Trump wanting to nuke hurricanes came to light just a few days before she was fired? What other anonymous source story could it have been?

No, she didn't comment on Tiffany's weight. She commented on Trump's aversion to taking pictures with Tiffany because of her weight.

It's obvious he doesn't make an effort to be publicly photographed with her. And you can't say its because she's not near him. She's been in law school at Georgetown for practically his entire presidency.
