White/translucent bulbs en masse?

Anonymous
I dug a hole to plant something and there were DOZENS of translucent white bulbs coming up with my shovel. Sort of like those small pearl onions at the grocery store. I know these are not alliums. Anyone have any idea what they may be? I’ve been on a mission digging out the day Lillie’s from my yard, and I often find the lily rhiozomes with these bunches of white bulbs. Thanks!!

onions of one kind or another. We had the same combo.

These are wild onion weeds and can range widely in size. Pull them up whenever you see them as they can spread rapidly.

They are an allium, just a wild one that is a nuisance in the lawn. Edible, but pungent.
