So Who's Going to Get the H1N1 Shot, Now That It's Available to Non-High-Risk Adults?

Anonymous
My office announced it's offering it, beginning yesterday. So I'm going. Anyone else?

I got one at my son's preschool last week.

I got one.

I am interested and intend to - just need to carve out time to go get one. Will probably go during work at some point.

Yup.

I got it. I figured I couldn't justify not doing so, after I was willing to take the risk for my DC.

Anyone know if it is available to non high risk adults at any of the public clinics yet?

20:47 here. Thank you for the info! We are in Ffx Co so if anyone knows when it will be open to all there I'd love to know. I keep checking their website and no info. Maybe DH will have to trek over the river for this one.

I got mine back in October, when I took my child for the first one. Went to one of the DC high school clinics and they had such low turnout they were vaccinating anyone who walked in.

Got it a while ago at the Prince William Health Dept. They too are vaccinating anyone that walks in the door - even though the website says they are targeting only CDC groups. Also, Prince William Health Dept was vaccinating Mon - Fri despite the website saying only M, W, F. Husband got it at our general doctor.

I got it on the first day it was open to adults at CVS Minute Clinic.

Which MinuteClinic? The ones I see online all say they don't have the H1N1.

(And in answer to the original question: I'm absolutely getting the shot. Originally it's because my son has athsma; even though he got vaccinated too his Dr. says that my husband & I both need to get the vaccine. But I'm also deeply invested in making sure I don't get sick!)
