Are people still trying to act like the photo wasn't photoshopped to death? 😭 Obviously William didn't photoshop the picture (or even take it let's be real), but still doesn't explain why they felt the need to edit it so much. If Kate wasn't feeling up to taking it then use an old picture and say "hey, still recovering but here's my favorite picture, can't wait to get back out there" blah blah blah. There will still be conspiracies but wouldn't be like this.

While it’s true that King Charles didn’t explain his cancer diagnosis, it’s also true that King Charles has been seen in public multiple times since the announcement, and his behavior has been consistent with what we know of his medical issues. None of that is true of Kate. Most people are less interested in Kate’s private medical details and more eager for documented indications that she’s okay. A doctored photo supposedly taken recently by William just raises more questions and concerns.

That’s what I can’t understand. They’ve used older pictures before. “Kate’s still recovering from surgery, we used one of her favorite older pictures on this year’s Mother’s Day post.” Most people would register a cute photo and move on.

Four people, none of them babies or toddlers. Not at all hard to get an acceptable photo.

These are also four people who have their photos taken for wide media release all the time. Kate, George, and probably even Charlotte have likely all had formal media training. It's not like taking a photo of my husband who always tucks his chin into his neck and blinks in photos, compulsively. They are an extremely photogenic family because they work at it, and that's actually one of the reasons the two very high profile, heavily photoshopped photos in the last few months have raised eyebrows. They never had problems getting good photos before, even when the kids were younger. Why are they suddenly releasing photos that appear to have been AI generated?

This pic wasn't AI generated. While there were some bad retouching here and there, everyone has the right number of fingers and teeth.
