How do I sell my car (private sale)?

I’ve heard I can get more money if I sell my car privately versus trading in to dealer. I literally have no clue what I need to do. The car is a 2009 Nissan with low miles (80k)
Once I find a buyer, what are the next steps in the sale? |

Take lots of pictures and put it on Craigslist. You'll get lowball offers via email - ignore them.
A serious buyer will want to come see the car. Let him drive it if he wants to - do not join in the test drive with a stranger. Good luck. |
