Over the counter progesterone?

Have you used or been recommended any over the counter progesterone to mimic the effect of vaginal progesterone suppositories for early pregnancy after IVF?

(It's a long story.)

Do you mean progesterone cream ? I used it when we were TTC since my luteal phase were short. Of course we didn’t get pregnant naturally. During IVF I asked my RE and he said the dosage was just too low to be effective. But his tone was dismissive so I am not sure if he actually knows or just wave it off.

Prometrium requires a prescription - shouldn’t your RE give it to you?
