I laugh as I ask this but is anyone going?
I hadn't even heard about this until a family member, in another state, called to see if she and a friend could stay with me so they could go. |
I guess the tea bag people needed another group outing, huh? Well hopefully the pictures of the crowd will not be fake this time. |
What fake pictures? The ones showing them protesting in an orderly fashion? Should they have been burning trash cans and breaking windows? |
Seriously? You don't know the history of fake pictures used to exaggerate the crowd's size? |
Trash cans? Windows? What was in those tea bags, and were they for drinking or smoking? This is an example of what we are talking about: http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2009/09/14/912-tea-party-photo-false_n_286082.html |
They needed this guy in DC yesterday.
Congressional Candidate Lieutenant Colonel Allen West <object width="425" height="344"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/VP2p91dvm6M&hl=en_US&fs=1&"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/VP2p91dvm6M&hl=en_US&fs=1&" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></embed></object> This might help some to understand the tea party movement a little more. |

Whew -figured it out! |
WOW! What part of that guy would anyone disagree with? |
How about the part where he says he did not depend on government changing rules for him, when his entire career was based on President Truman overruling the military and integrating the armed forces? Also, I disagree with his implication that the government giving a hand to those who need it is an attack on those who can manage on their own. I have nothing against someone who disagrees with policy getting up and running for office, but riling up a crowd with the language of violent revolution is one more thing I disagree with. |
Hmm, I thought he was referring to affirmative action (no) not civil rights (yes). Civil rights provide the opportunities he discusses, right? That includes the right to compete on a level playing field, not having your achievements graded on a curve because of skin color or ethnic heritage. |
I love how people keep calling them "tea baggers." Whether it's an honest mistake or not, it's still hilarious. |
