| I am amazed she has survived so long. She has no personality and is as stiff as a board. I am sure she’s a lovely person of air but she brings zero excitement. Leon Harris, and before him Jim Vance, tried to lighten things up but Doreen is just so boring. |

I've watched a Doreen since she arrived, maybe circa 1989? She was one of the first female anchors who had that annoying, clipped "anchor lady" voice; still heard by female sportscasters, for some reason.
She loosened up her delivery style a bit, or maybe I'm just used to her now. I'll give her credit for her amazingly toned and shaped arms. She's one of the few anchors who should wear sleeveless dresses proudly! |

| I agree. I think we have the worst newscasters. I think they get experience and then move here and basically don’t leave. My parents’ smaller city has really fun, young Newcasters. Obviously this is ageism but still. |
