Ideas to end summer with a bang!

DH and I are both taking tomorrow off. It’s technically our last weekend of summer, because we will be out of town next weekend for a wedding. I want to do something fun at home. Kids are 7 and 9.

If you had the whole weekend at home with nothing to do, what fun things would you do to close out summer?

Zoo
Water balloon fight
Miniature Golf
Zip line/ropes course
Family bike ride or hike
Peddle boating

If kids are decent swimmers then go to barkers ferry and tube down the river.

Six Flags or a water park

Are the Nats in town? The Yards Park + a game is a fun afternoon. Or just the Yards Park.

I like to go to Georgetown and do a boat ride and then have dinner. Just something different and fun.
