Country Day, Brooksfield, where else do I need to apply THIS fall for 2s program for NEXT fall?

Anonymous
Hi all - looking for 2s programs in the general vicinity of Country Day and Brooksfield and closer in towards DC along the orange/silver lines. Grateful for recommendations for programs that are accepting applications this fall for spots for next fall.

Thank you!

McLean Montessori?

There's a Montessori across the street from CDS called Ridgemont. They have a 2's. MSM definitely takes 2 y/o as well as Lewinsville Montessori.

McLean Children's Academy is in dowtown McLean so would be somewhat convenient to the McLean silver line stop.

I don’t have any to recommend but for what it’s worth my child had an awful experience at Brooksfield.

It looks like you can apply as soon as you find out you’re expecting, which makes me think there’s a long waitlist? I missed the boat of applying while pregnant, so I’m hoping we’ll have a better chance of getting into a program that only starts accepting applications a year in advance.

Yes but they also opened a brand new campus so there might be space.

They seem very focused on marketing and making/raising money so they make things seem great when they aren’t. Mine hated school and wasn’t learning much but according to them, everything was wonderful and my kid was doing great. So stay for kindergarten! Sign up for camp! Donate to the annual fund! Bid on this auction item! Have the grandparents give to the annual fund! Tell your friends we bus kids from all over for extended day!
