What’s the biggest age gap you’ve seen in a relationship/marriage where the woman is older than the man?

My former boss. 15 years difference. They married in 2007, and she was 41 with two high school age kids from her first marriage. Within less than a year of marrying they had a kid together. They're still together and doing fine as far as I can tell (from social media).

My brother's wife is I think 15 years older than him? I knew her age at one point but I'm not 100% sure anymore. They're obnoxiously obsessed with each other. Seems to be working.

Dh's closest friend's wife is 10 years older. Met when they were 25 and 35. They have 2 kids together.

I know of two other relationships where the woman is 15+ years old. In one case, the man was divorced with kids and didn't want any more. In the other, the man didn't want kids and the woman already had 2 older kids by the time they met.

All are still together.

I think 12-13 years if I have their ages right. I love them both. They seem to have a successful marriage, too!

That’s the difference between my brother and his wife. He’s 11 years younger than I am and she’s a couple of years older, so we get along really well.

My paternal grandmother was 11 years older than my grandfather. Married 65 years.

Wow I was coming on here to say 5 years, and I was thinking that would be one of the larger gaps. Hah! Guess I was wrong. I wonder if it's because most of my friend group got married in their 20s or very early 30s- there is a huge difference between 21 and 31 for example, but perhaps not such a big difference between 45 and 55? I don't know.

When I was 22, I dated a woman that was 42. Hey, we both had fun and didn’t care about the age difference.

same except I think I was closer to 25 and she was mid 40s. It was great until she wanted a serious relationship. Three kids from her marriage oldest being 18, I wasn't interested. If she didn't have children
I might have been interested in taking it the next step

The most I’ve seen IRL is 10 years.

The most ever is Macron.
