| Out of 13 mature eggs - we have 8 embryos - PGS results aren’t available yet but they are generally BB grade, 5 are day six and 3 are day five embryos. Worried that we don’t have any A embryos and just wanted to hear if you’ve had success transferring BB or worse blasts? |

Yes! It seems the only PGS normal embryos I made were BB. None of my perfect A embryos were normal. Currently 20 weeks pregnant with a PGS normal Day 6 BB.
For what it's worth, BB just means "average." Apparently most IVF pregnancies are B's just because it's the most common grade. Congrats on 8 embryos - that's great. |
My happy, healthy 9 month old DS was a 5BB (PGS normal) embryo.

Yep - the only blasts that resulted in kids were my 6 day bb'ers. 8 is a great number!
Good luck OP! |
| Since I only ever had 2 embryos make it for 2 IVF cycles, I didn't even want the grades. They told me they weren't great when we transferred, so I assume no As for me. They didn't want me to get my hopes up. I still have 3 beautiful IVF babies from those 4 "poorly" graded embryos. |

PGS result counts more than grade. I only had 4 that made it to blast, of which 2 were normal. First one did not result in pregnancy, currently pregnant with the only remaining one. I did not get a grade but I can see from my medical records that this blast was assessed “fair” and “poor” in respect of certain qualities.
Good luck!! |
| Agreed that PGS normal embryos are what matter most. You got this OP! |
