| Anyone know the results of the scrimmage between Pipeline and Arlington DA? |
| Well, I heard somewhere that Pipeline is totes dominant on the "national level," so I'm sure it was ugly for Arlington. Right? |
DA team playing pipeline’s non-DA players (06 black)? Or Arlington DA playing Baltimore Armour DA? BTW, we have a number of soccer geniuses on this site making similarly grandiose claims for Bethesda, McLean, and Arlington from time to time. It’s a scrimmage. Let’s respect the Vegas rules here. I am sure the rest of us will manage to live without your interminable and insufferablr and unsuccessful attempts to troll, amuse and belittle. Shoo. |
Nobody scrimmages to lose. That's the Virginia rule. |
Oooh. Virginia rules. Spice Girl has spoken. |
Yes I do. |
Now tell me what you want...what you really really want |
Really, Pipeline dad? |
| They’re preseason friendlies. Players and coaches are working out new players, formations, etc. just like nfl preseason games, these don’t matter. |
No formations and players? GTFOH. |
| I am guessing Arlington won. |
Yeah. Sounds like it...but only because Pipeline was trying out new players in a 4-4-3 vs 2-4-4 or whatever... lol |
|
So did Arlington win against the greatest club in the world or what?
|
|
There were multiple age groups playing. Some Arlington teams 'won', some did not. I asked one team parent and he asked "was anyone even keeping score?"
But as others mentioned, it was a scrimmage with cobbled together teams, parent/coach refs, played in a practice format (shortened periods, etc). Players were swapped around from defender to striker and back again at times. It was a practice scrimmage. Nothing more than that. |
