Does anyone use an app to track when they put their child to bed and when they actually fall asleep? I would be curious to see if I can figure out any patterns, ie put him to bed “early” and he rolls around for 90 minutes so that is essentially the same as putting him to bed late and right to sleep. Also curious if certain bedtimes lead to certain wake up times. I figure someone invented an app for this? He is 2.5 so the trackers from the baby days not totally applicable I don’t think. |
Couldn't you just create two columns on a piece of paper? Or an excel spreadsheet that you could sort on? |
Sure, I could do that. Just curious if there was something easier, but guess not. Thanks! |
How would it know when he actually fell asleep? |
NP but I check the video cam footage. My video camera will tell me the last time my kids rolled around, so I use that as the time they went to sleep. |
Earlier is generally better. |
Get the FitBit for kids. |
I use the app "baby tracker." There is a customizable category where you could record "time in bed" and a default category "sleep", so you could track those separately. |
I use a fit bit to track when I actually fall sleep - I am obsessed with it. You could get one for your kid and in the morning, it will tell you what time they fell asleep, how restless they were, and what time they wake up. |
For a 2 1/2 year old, this is not worth it. Also, you still have a baby monitor on your almost three year old? Helicopter much? |
