Cool pants for teen boy (sophomore)

Anonymous
My son needs some new pants for school and he’s after the slim slightly tapered look that seems to be trending. He’s about 5ft 9/10, 130lbs, 29 waist. We are looking for navy, tan, black, grey. Either dressy or jean style but not denim in color. What brands should I be looking at? He has no idea either. Thanks!

It’s truly the best! just know that you try on at the store and then they ship it to you. Ours came in a couple of days.

OP here - I just checked them out and they look great but the least expensive pair is $68. Just wondering if this is what people are spending on pants for teen boys? Yikes! I will take advantage of the 20% off. Last year I bought from Gap and Vans and thought $50 was a lot.

I don't know if they're cool for teen boys for not but American Eagle has inexpensive pants for tall skinny guys

My 12 yo son likes the jogger style pants (denim, cotton, athletic) and we buy his at H&M. He’s eating the largest size now in boys and will be transitioning to the men’s sizes.

American Eagle, only buy on sale and you'll find them for $20-$30. My son gets alerts and tells me stuff is on sale if he needs anything.

my son is about the same size (a bit taller) and the same year ins school and buys most of his at H&M. Occassionally Vans has skinny pants that will fit him (Vans also has some cool belts he uses quite a bit since finding pants that fit a 6 foot 135ilb kid is near impossible!). Also, we can sometimes find Nike joggers at Kohls that work (thank goodness for the skinny leg trend. And drawstrings). Good luck!

I was a huge Bonobos until they sold out to WalMart.

What is cool for 12 year olds is very, very different than what is cool for high school boys, fyi

(I have both)

Abercrombie jeans are the best. My son wears the skinny sweat pant stretch jeans. size 15/16 (kids). Men's jeans and dressier pants are skinny fit with stretch. Softest pants you'll find. Stop at pants since everything else has the intrusive A&F logo.
