Hi,
I have a 14 year old girl moving to the DC area. She has played Lacrosse one year. We are looking for a club for beginners, she could join. There is not a Lacrosse team at her new school.
Any tips would be greatly appreciated.

For beginners before 9th grade, I'd suggest starting with the local rec league for your area. In NoVA, this is based on the high school to which you are assigned based on your neighborhood (even if you are in private school). Check out NVYLL.org. to find the club(s) to which you map and then the club's website for more details/contact information. Not as sure of how things work for DC and MD.

There are also lots of clinics and the like offered in the fall which can provide an intro to rec as well as travel clubs in the area.
