This place used to seem really popular but now I don’t hear anything about it. Any current parents on here? |
We still like it a lot. It’s not the same as when the director Lauren was there but I think with the new director, they are finally getting back on track. Still lots of wonderful, long term teachers. We considered switching and were shocked at the difference in quality at other centers. |
how long has the current director (Senate?) been there? |
2 months |
Anyone have experience with the young toddler room? |
We had one start as a young toddler (15 months) and one start as an infant so both went through that room. We loved that time period. I think the teachers in Toddler A are newer but the Toddler B class is amazing, especially Ms. Adean. Also they are awesome at starting to potty train your kid — we never took the initiative and just followed the teachers’ lead! |
We have a child in the Infant B room and are still figuring out how we feel about the place. We were so excited to get off the wait list and have our child start in the Infant A room, which we all loved and dearly miss. Infant B has been off to a somewhat rocky start, as they're currently hiring for a second full-time teacher, among some other issues, which I won't get into here. It's been an adjustment and we're waiting to see how things go before deciding if we should stay next year or start looking around more. For what it's worth, Senate has been wonderful and super receptive to feedback, so that's been a true positive about the place. |
We've been at RCC for a number of years. It's definitely had some up's and down's since Lauren left but the bulk of the teachers are phenomenal. I know from friends who have switched their kids to other centers, the quality of the teachers does not compare. I think Senate is moving things in the right direction and hopefully the school will see stability in the years to come. |
bumping up this thread for any recent feedback.. |
