Just bought a waffle maker. Could you recommend your favorite recipe?
Thank you in advance!

Most homemade waffle recipes ask for egg whites to be whipped separately - to give them lightness. This recipe doesn't make you do it -- it is yeast raised. You start it the night before and add a few additions the morning of. They are light and crispy.

I cop out. I use Aunt Jemima Whole Wheat Blend, add my omega 3 egg and organic milk. I sub 1/4 cup of the mix with corn starch to make them crisp and light. And add a scoop of pumpkin for a nice change. DC loves those so much he doesn't ask for syrup.

In a pinch, the Trader Joe's multigrain baking mix makes good waffles.
Is your waffle maker Belgian, or the smaller kind? I have a whole grain recipe that's pretty good.

The Stonewall Kitchen Pancake/Waffle mix is so great! You can buy it at Balduccis or online.
