Not for lawyers. SEC is just where big law associates go to be overpaid and not enforce securities zealously. State is full of lawyers negotiating embassy contracts. |

| I'm a career Fed and I don't think there are prestigious agencies. There are agencies relevant to your field or that you partner with, and you may have had good or bad experiences with the people there. |
