| I'm 7 weeks and am feeling the need to get new bras .. before i go out and buy a bunch i wanted to check how often you end up changing bra size through pregnancy so I know how many to buy each time . Mine is not a size that is available in stores (32G pre pregnancy) so I usually have to look online/ order a few different sizes /types etc and see what fits.. |
|
I went up one size first trimester. Now I feel like I need to go up in band.
I am 36 DDD now. I highly recommend Ebay. I have bought Soma bras from Ebay for the last year. You can usually buy brand new for 25, or used (like one wear, not really used) for under $20. Given the uncertainty of how long you will be a particular size, and yet needing a really good bra for the size, can't go wrong! If in doubt, go to store, try on and write down style and size to search online. |

I bought these at 7 or 8 weeks and they are still working for me at 20 weeks. The S/M/L sizing helps. Stretchy and super-comfortable. I've gone up one spot in the band, but still have plenty of band room to go.

| I'm a 34 G and Nordstrom had a dozen in my size in store. |
| OP here, thank you all, very helpful. |
| I'm also large chested and found buying the bra extenders on Amazon worked best for the first and second trimesters. I fluctuated A LOT and then again PP so it saved me hundreds of dollars on new bras every few weeks (34G+ is not in the $20 for 2 bras at Target category). |
| anyone try any bra extenders for increasing band length? walmart has a few online |
| I like the spanx bras and natori bras tshirt bras personally because they are super stretchy and don't dig into your skin if you need to go up a band or even cup size. I started wearing these a while ago because I'd go up a cup size on my period. Also, get something with fuller coverage. One size fits all undies are also the best! |

I am a similar size to you (generally wear panache, freya or fantasie). I am up two cup sizes at 25 weeks and now I need to go up in my band size (usually a 28/30 and going to go up to a 32 for now - wearing a 32GG at the moment). I tend to carry weight in my bust (when my weight fluctuates I see it in my bra size first), so I imagine I will go up a size in the cup and maybe another in the band as my belly grows. I find that the soft cups are very forgiving for the changes going on.
my current bra because the cups are so forgiving - https://www.amazon.com/Panache-Andorra-Bra-30FF-Coral/dp/B075NLR1PH/ref=sr_1_1_sspa?keywords=panache+andorra&qid=1565099591&s=gateway&sr=8-1-spons&psc=1 |
