Shaw/Bloomingdale daycares

We are moving to the neighborhood soon and heard good things about Barbara Chambers on 7th st. Any additional insights, or for Northwest Settlement house? We walked by and it seems like there is a third one right on the block! TIA!! I know wait lists are always long but we would need placement for our daughter due in January until next fall.

I've heard mostly goo things, but I think it can be hard to get a hold of the director. You might have to be persistent.

I have never heard anything bad about the care at NWSH but I hear the admin is a total headache and that other places feel more welcoming, homey, or just easier to be at. I know three families who switched from there to barbara chambers.
