Which DC private has the largest endowment? How large?

Sidwell is like 40 million, which is pretty modest

How do you even find this info?

The boys schools, particularly StA and Prep have the highest, though Episcopal as a boarding school is up there as well, well into the 9 figures.

St Alban around 50 million.

Tiny endowments for these schools compared to the big boys- shows just how provincial all the big three arrogance is.

Usually published in each school's annual report.

These endowments are smaller than I would have thought. How much does one have to donate to Sidwell for example to be considered an influential donor? Would a few hundred thousand cut it?

Religious schools don't have to file 990 forms with the IRS, so you can't find places like Georgetown Prep, but for the fiscal year ending June 2017, net assets were listed as follows

Maret 55M
Potomac 99M
GDS 114M

Some of them have done more recent capital campaigns, so may be out of date.
