I think it's funny how much club bashing and coach bashing there is in general on this string...I think about 50% of it are just anonymous posters who love to spin things up and create drama for their own entertainment!

I saw the rosters and cannot believe that one girl made it to black over another on orange...the politics...obviously there's something bad brewing and a complete overhaul is needed...and I also heard M&D and Skywalkers are merging and there;s talk about a consolidation with Capital that would probably mean new tryouts and all the Maryland girls from Cumberland are being invited to play for Capital...which means the girls who made it this year are going to have to got to other area clubs like VA metro and Metro is actually going to merge with Cardinal CRASH VA ONE MD United and MC Elite and Rebles in an effort to counterbalance this new club which is taking over girls hs club lax like Vail resorts is taking over ski slopes...

You forgot Madlax. I heard they were merging with Pride

All merger and who is better than who jokes aside, if your kid is from NOVA and wants to play club at the highest level in high school without driving for an hour to practice, you have a serious problem. Capital is going backwards and Pride will never make it.

Maybe --- Maybe not. Capital can change coaches and change directors but doesn't mean the politics changed. If there aren't real roster changes to the poorly performing teams, and new teams made up of the best players, its same old Capital - politics come first, second, and third and having a team that can win at the top level comes last. Seeing posted rosters will make it clearer if there are any real changes.

Disagree 100%. Not sure what standard you are using to evaluate, what teams are you talking about or how many players are they missing? Can you expand on your expert opinion?

Pride should and will be able to compete, whether its this year or a couple years on. It is a growing sport and there is definitely room for more athletes. I do wonder, though, about all of the B teams and their level of competition. It seems the MD teams all have two very strong teams but that level seems to fall off in VA.
