Do you Plan to get a Gift to each of the Elementary Teachers?

Or just the main room teachers? There is the gym, art and music teacher...

Just wondering what most people do when they enter elementary school.

Mom of a fifth grader here. Each year what I do is buy a gift for the main teacher. Then, I write a personal e-mail to every other person with whom my child has contact. I try to incorporate stories from my kids in these e-mails. In our elementary school, the holiday celebrations are set up such that it is only convenient to gift the homeroom teacher.

I give a gift to the main teacher.

I give a large contribution to the collection for the extended day bonus (like two hundred dollars).

I would make sure to aknowledge everyone-whether it's by holiday card or gift or whatever. Just let each person know you appreciate what they do. Even just a gingerbread cookie with a note lets someone know you appreciate their time with your child.
