how far in advance can I make sufganiot and latkes

I wanted to bring them in for my son's class but not sure how long of a window I have from the time I make them to until they are served. How long do you think they can sit out without tasting gross?

You should probably experiment with your recipe. The fresher they are, the better they taste. Will you have applesauce for the latkes? Yum!
