If you are not already a member of the coop, its very hard to get a spot. Join the wait list early and set up a back up plan just in case!

We got into the infant class by pure luck. We didn't join the coop (which you cannot do anyway unless you already had a kid go thru the school first) and didn't have sibling pref. Happens every few years that an outsider like us get in as an infant.
Infant class is low ratio. 2 infants per teacher, max 6 infants in the class. 2 of the 3 infant teachers have been there for years. Bright room and great philosophy. Our kid is now older but very advanced for her age and we credit the school.

To clarify... you can (and must) only join the coop after you get an admission offer. But yoi cannot preemptively join coop to increase your odds of getting into LB.
