Any recommendations on must read, relationship changing books/blogs?
The 180 has recently been discussed, which seems to have helped some dcumers but I personally have found it difficult to simultaneously try to reconnect with my DH while also acting like I don't care. Any others? |

| Since you mentioned the 180, I assume you mean for cheating? Chump Lady (but she does not advocate for trying to rebuild the marriage), Surviving Infidelity, Affair Recovery videos on YouTube. |
+1 if you are trying to rebuild the relationship, the 180 will destroy it. Another +1 for Gottman books |
| Healing Broken Trust In Your Marriage After Infidelity podcast by Brad & Morgan Robinson has some interesting talks, too. |
| The book "Not "Just Friends": Rebuilding Trust and Recovering Your Sanity After Infidelity," by Shirley Glass, is often recommended. |

I'm so sorry. If your ex isnt willing to work on things, there is NOTHING you can do. Have some dignity. Begging, appearing needy, nagging, crying, leaving him with articles, all of that will just drive him away.
The most you can do is Be Better than what he was looking for outside the marriage. Google Joe Beam and read some of his stuff on how to save your marriage. It's truly the best advice if you are trying to save your marriage and your spouse is still in the thick of the affair fog. |
| OP here. Was interested in books on relationships in general not just infidelity books. I'm personally not dealing with infidelity but a spouse that's been emotionally checked out. Just looking for ways to get our mojo back. We are in counseling but wanted to also read up on the topic. That's just how I'm wired. |
