Schedules

Hello everyone, my daughter wants to see her schedule but it isn't available. She is entering 9th, usually they post it halfway through summer. Anyone know apps I can access? Or, if I should call the school, I have a few concerns regarding her course requests. I would also want to know her teachers. Or anyone know when it will release?

Call the counseling department if you want to talk about her course requests. Schedules for 9th graders are usually given to them at the orientation the Thursday before school starts.

The school will not welcome you making teacher requests if that is why you think you need to know her teachers names in July.

OP needs to be able to have enough time to follow her Instagram posts, so she can then determine if she is a good teacher or not

Even if they showed you the schedule now, the teachers/periods could change several times before school starts.

They don't release these til the first day of school. For the last few years, someone has hacked into the system and made schedules available to kids but it only lasted a few hours (texts/posts went out through kid networks and a lot of kids logged on to see before MCPS closed the loophole down).

This might seem like a scam, but the last two hears has been accurate for my dd. This happened again a few weeks ago, but dd says it was available for < a day...

Um. I don’t think anyone hacked into the system. It was an MCPS goof that the kids figured out.

Um. I don’t think anyone hacked into the system. It was an MCPS goof that the kids figured out.

Yeah--I don't really know how the info was made available, but it was on some external website (she didn't log in through mymcps).
