preservative free second dose after regular first dose?

Has anyone tried to get the preservative free shot for babies as the second dose after getting a regular (preservative) shot for the first dose? I wanted to hold out for the preservative free the first time, but couldn't get it. Now that its more widely available, I want to know if they will give us the preservative free the second dose. Dr. Sears says to stick to the same brand, but Sanofi makes both preservative and non-preservative so I don't know if that would count.

Yes, we got preservative free 2nd dose for my 11mo after multidose 1st.

I don't think sticking to the same brand matters nearly as much as sticking to the same type -- shot vs mist.

Yes - got preservative-free for the second shot. Both first and second were Sanofi Pasteur.

Ditto. We got the preservative free Sanofi Pasteur (in single dose vial with pink plunger) for our 8 mo DD today at the Reeves Municipal Center clinic. Her first shot was also Sanofi Pasteur, but it was the formulation with thimerosal, in the multi-dose vial, as the preservative free was not available in DC in October when she got her first shot.
