It just dawned on me that I have work Dec. 28-31 and my kids are going to be out of child care that week ...
Can anyone recommend a good winter break day camp or four-day camp that week in the Bethesda/Rockville/Potomac area that accepts 3 and 5 year olds? (potty trained) I'd love at least a morning program but ideally full day. Thanks! |
I think Dynamite Gymnastics has a winter break program. |
Potomac Community Center has one. |
I just picked up the latest Washington Parent and there are a bunch of winter camp programs advertised in it.
Hope this helps |
Sidwell Friends Lower School campus in Bethesda. My kids are going there and they are really excited. They are doing the Left Noodle-Right Noodle program. |
Geneva Day School in Potomac has a winter break camp, but I don't know if you have to be a student at the school.
Worth checking out. |
What is that? |
I am the poster whose kids are going to Sidwell for camp. I just double checked the registration flier and copied and pasted the description for you. My kids thought it sounded like fun! We're jumping back on the LNRN bus for some all new “Postcards from the USA”("Winter Break Style") adventures! Grab your imaginations and your suitcases and jump on board! Our ALL NEW Winter 2009 tickets to adventure includes: *The National Gingerbread House Competition in Asheville, NC *The Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show in NYC *Punxsutawney, PA for Groundhog Day Festivities and so much more!! |
Might be too far for you, but Lango of Montogomery County will have a Spanish and Mandarin camp in downtown Silver Spring. |
Mater Dei is doing Headfirst for both weeks. |
My son and daughter have both done the Left Noodle, Right Noodle - lots of fun exploring cultures, famous places/events - make lots of arts & crafts projects, play games - great adult instructors. Goes by Global Arts in Arlington Public Schools. My daughter will be doing the program at Sidwell - she is 2nd grade. Son (now 5th) will be doing the sports programs there (Basketball and soccer). |
