Can you choose your doctor at shady grove?

I am interested in seeing a specific doctor at shady grove for IVF. Do they allow patients to choose?

Of course. Just call for an appointment with their specific office and state you’d like to meet with that Dr.

If there are multiple doctors at your specific "home" office location then, sure, I don't see why not. Quite a few locations are smaller offices that only have one doctor, though.

If you are referring to a specific doctor to do the procedure (retrieval or transfer), I was told that it would be done by whatever doctor was performing procedures that day. No way of really knowing much ahead of time.

I’ve had the same doctor at SG for going on 8 years now, and she has never once been the one to do an IUI, a retrieval (2) a fresh cycle (2) or an FET (6 and counting). She does try very hard to do my first OB sonogram and often my FET kick off ultrasound, of that makes a difference to you. I would honestly care more about the nurse than the doc, since you’ll interact with the nurse much much more

I'm the PP you quoted. Same story here. I've been with SG for 5 years, same doctor. 6 IUIs, one retrieval, 3 FETs. He was the doctor on call for my retrieval, but all other procedures were done by someone else. Similar to you, my doctor was the first to do all ultrasounds.
+100- to caring more about the nurse. We've had 2; one was absolutely amazing. The other was pleasant enough, but not quite as detail oriented and caring as our first.
