Any good? Watched first episode tonight and I’m on the fence. Does it get better?

Does it? We are waiting for your update.

Pretty sure there is a thread not this already.

I loved it. I thought it got much better.

It's a slow burn. One of those shows I wished I had read the book so I wouldn't have to watch. Kept up with it because I was invested and the acting is superb. I actually think it would be a good binge. As a weekly, "must see" it was a little annoying, but powering through might be the way to go.

The book was terrible. Cannot imagine this is any better.

I stopped after halfway thru the second episode. I then just read a summary online.

I liked it. A few episodes in the middle were pretty slow for me but the end was crazy.

Oh, I still have nightmares about the end.

Did you read the book? I thought the show did an outstanding job of replicating the creepiness of the book. Adora was played to absolute perfection. Agree there was a blah episode in the middle. The ending makes the time commitment worth it.

Very slow. Way too many close ups of Amy Adams nose. Adora the best actress. Like 3 episodes would have been enough.

I read and loved the book- I agree they could have done this in way less episodes. Still liked the mini series and agree Adora is the best!

I liked it and don't tend to like her books.

The end justifies the series
