“Starting Monday, if you find a crow, feral swine or coyote in your car on your property in Virginia, you’re legally allowed to take it out or shoot it.”

I am now hoping that feral pig dare wander into my yard!

Excuse my language, but what the actual f*ck?

"Reporting child abuse: Ministers, priests, rabbis, imams and other religious practicioners have to report child abuse, except in instances where the information supporting the suspicion of child abuse or neglect is required by the doctrine of the religious organization to be kept secret."

I am not Catholic, but I think that is a reference to the sacrament of confession.

WTF... That's crazy. Either someone is a mandated reporter or not. There shouldn't be religious exceptions.

It's f*cked up that if someone confesses molesting a child during confession, the priest doesn't have to report them. Absolutely screwed up. Pro-life and pro-child my ass.

What about the new Family Life requirements for HIGH SCHOOL???? Does this only apply to incoming 9th graders? I hope to hell so.

Tolls suspended during evacuations
During a state of emergency, toll operators will be required to suspend toll collection on designated mass evacuation routes.

Shocked this wasn’t already the case!

You can't buy cigarettes until 21 unless you are in the military. I am no fan of cigarettes, but these age restrictions are moronic. Everything should be age 18: voting, alcohol, military service.

I think everything should be 21.

High school family life education classes are also now required, rather than allowed, to teach about the law and meaning of sexual consent.

I'm not seeing a problem with teaching students about consent. Seems like a good idea to me.

Well, as usual on DCUM, OP didn't bother to research before posting. Here's the problem with feral swine: https://www.dgif.virginia.gov/wildlife/feral-hogs/hunting-faq/

It wasn't. Operators were required to double tolls.

I disagree, voting, drinking, cigarettes, marijuana, full licenses, military service [unless in times of war] should be 21.

That would take away an opportunity from lower income young men and women who can’t afford college right out of high school.
