It’s an outdoor pool. If you go on the basketball court (on 18th) you can look down on it. You access it from the next block though. Not well advertised but it’s a public children’s pool.

Random question. My MIL (non dc resident) is visiting. Would she be able to take my LO to this pool? LO is a resident. Do they check for a dc drivers license?

At the DC pool I go to every guest signs in (including kids) and they check IDs. If you have an out of state guest then you are supposed to buy a pass, which you can get online.

Of course enforcement of all of this may vary from pool to pool.
