Looking for an infant cpr class. Any recommendations on where?

Red Cross. There is one in your area.
Check at the hospital where you’re delivering. We took a class at Shady Grove.
The Breastfeeding Center has them too.
This is a long shot but any that you can bring baby to?
We don't allow kids/babies in the classes I teach due to the distraction potential. You may find classes catered towards new parents though. I'd ask your OB/hospital/ped. Alternatively there are a lot of hybrid classes where you learn the mechanics and situations of CPR online and then do a hands on test after you complete thonline part. |
The one at the Breastfeeding Center was good.
Red Cross. You can actually do the first part online and then hands on in class which saves a lot of time- they still go over the first part in person (first and Aid and general CPR questions). However, if it’s your first class, then you should attend in person for both parts.
I just took one through my yoga studio in Arlington, Mind the Mat. Two hours, very comprehensive with videos and hands on practice on both child and infant dummies. Also briefly covered choking first aid. Do keep in mind that at this location they did have us sitting on the floor, so may not be comfortable for those in late pregnancy.
