Botox for Migraines

Anonymous
I know there was some discussion of botox for cosmetic purposes but has anyone done it for migraines? My nuerologist does not do the procedure but my mom's does. Last time I visited her she got me an appointment and it was great. First time in 35 years that I went an entire week without a migraine. Heck, I went longer than that. I was just happy to have one free week. And a side benefit was a smoother forehead. It's just hard to always have to head home (Way out of state) to get it done and it would be great if someone did it around here. Thanks.

My friend goes to Dr. Feledy for this. Well, this was her "excuse" but it did help. I would call and ask about it. He has worked in the academic field of medicine for many years before he went private, so he know all about the latest studies.
Asking never hurts.
