I just switched back to Firefox after using Chrome for many years. It was much easier to switch back than I thought. Easy to copy over bookmarks, set the extensions, etc. Added the Facebook Container, something Chrome lacks. Feels liberating to move away from the Google platform. Firefox is much better for privacy, according to the WashPost. https://www.washingtonpost.com/technology/2019/06/21/google-chrome-has-become-surveillance-software-its-time-switch/?utm_term=.8e60248805f3 |
What is Facebook Container? |
It prevents Facebook from tracking you. It isolates Facebook from the rest of your internet browsing. This is assuming you deleted the app long ago.

Same with me based on that article |
Welcome home. |
I keep Chrome but use it only on rare occasions when I’m trying to load a page with FireFox and there’s a problem. I had chrome on my iPhone and deleted it because I only use safari anyway. |
Still using Chrome and Chromebooks. Yes, Google can put together a picture of sites I visit but I trust them enough. Better than those I don't trust like Facebook or those in the shadows. |
