Some workplaces do not allow working from outside the US. Make sure you are not in violation of this policy. |
you should talk to your office IT people. I don’t login into my bank account when I’m overseas. |
1. OverseAs
2. Your company IT can let you know how to use your company phone |

Assuming you have small incompetent IT department
1) purchase google fi account, and swap sim before you go. Exclusively use google fi, no WiFi. 2) vPN if you have it but if not don’t try to shop for one 3) two factor authentication - a google titan key would be good. Or at least have it text your google fi account 4) change password before you go and when you get back. |

Get an internet mobile hotspot before you leave. Usually have in vending machine before you leave.
Get a VPN we like expres VPN. |
Yeah hard to find not shady VPN. Can folks post company they like? |
It depends on which country you're going to. If you're in England or France, you're probably ok using the wifi (with the same precautions you would use here -- don't sign on to a secure site on an open network, etc). My previous employer would not let us take our mobile devices to China or Russia, among other places. If someone insisted on email access, they would give them a "burner" phone with a temporary email account and password.

We also like Express VPN (live overseas and use it all the time). |
Overplay.net is my vpn service. Works good |
