I’ve never seen so many happy runners in June

Anyone else run more than they scheduled to do today, knowing this loveliness won’t last? Running always sucks in a way, but it was glorious this morning! Hope you enjoyed it!

When was the last June with weather like this? It is awesome, not hot and not cold, just puuurrrfect. Tons of people out there speed walking and or running. Tons.

I've been nursing a knee injury for a while, but the last few weeks have been too perfect not to get out there for at least a few miles. It's such a gift.

It has been great weather.

I heard an npr interview yesterday about San Francisco temps being above 100. Yet I was in Orlando. Looked at my dash, and it said 86.

Not a climate denier, but some places are allowed to get hot periodically, and it doesn’t mean “climate change.” (Yes there is climate change, but the point is it’s to a small *overall and constant* degree, and it’s enough to make an impact)

It was a gorgeous morning! Had to be at the pool early did summer swim but so glad I got in 6 miles beforehand.

If you weren’t a climate change denier you wouldn’t have brought this up in the context. Each year has been getting globally hotter and hotter, on average, and our kids and grandkids are going to be suffering intensely because of our generation’s selfishness.

This morning was just... horrible. The other runners looked as miserable as I was. I suppose it's a good bonding experience for all of us. Right?

Too funny - I was trying to read the faces of other people early this morning and everyone indeed looked miserable. No one looked like they wanted to give a 'runner's wave' and when they did, it was half assed and totally unenthusiastic. We strangers were all in hell together
