Contra Mestre Kojo (FICA) is a seasoned arts educator and Capoeirista with nearly 30 yrs of experience who’s worked with kids from all over the world with diverse abilities and learning styles. As a Capoeira instructor and certified life coach, he uses Capoeira Angola not only as a martial art but as a tool for personal development that empowers students to grow in spite of their limitations, to live well and adapt to their environment. Kids who participate consistently in this class are challenged to develop self-confidence, fitness/wellness, discipline, respect for others and effective means of self-expression. They explore new limits, learn some Brazilian Portuguese, and have fun in the process. With Contra Mestre Kojo and Capoeira Angola playing IS learning! Vamos Vadiar /Let’s go play! |
