Yule Log Cake

Any recommendations on where I can buy one of these cakes here in DC or Montgomery County?

I saw last year in that bakery in the Bradley Blvd shopping strip in Bethesda (the one with Bruce Variety). They look so pretty.

I've gotten them from Whole Foods (so-so) and Marvelous Market (yummy). Oh, it was the MM at Conn and Nebraska. We're not French, but our kids love that log!

It's not that difficult to make your own; I've done it a couple of times.

Saw a small one at Whole Foods the other day, but based on the taste of the cupcakes I bought there (yuck!), I'd look elsewhere.

We used to get them from Marvelous Market.

I don't really care for them, but people used to say the one we got from MM was good.

I got one last year at praline in the Sangamore shopping center. It was good. You do have to order ahead!
