What are your personal recommendations for a plastic surgeon in the area for body work?

Many of my clients use Dr. Magassi in McLean and love him. As with anyone, certain doctors specialize in certain body parts and procedures. Best to check them out, look at pics and ask for referrals.

Hold on there--he had the patient die a few years back and got in trouble for it..can't remember what it was but it made the news. If he is the doc on the corner of 123 and Chainbridge --I would run not walk away from him.

All of them have had something like that - doesn't necessarily mean it was the doc's fault. Look at the two top ones in this region - they also have had problems. Often, clients lie about their health issues in order to have the surgery. All surgery comes with a risk. Look at the former Miss Argentina who was in the news today. Magassi is still rated as one of the top surgeons in the area. As mentioned, plastic surgery is serious stuff. Anything that involves cutting and anesthesia requires serious consideration. Not to be taken lightly.

Not mine! He did a residency in plastic surgery and then a fellowship for body contouring in reconstructive plastic surgery. Major body work, like from losing a lot of weight is his specialty. if you want minor work, his partner is a magician with the Vaser Lipo machine.
