GOP Corruption at Every Level

Graft and bribery coming directly from the Trump campaign. This is one of the AZ republicans who attended the insurrection on January 6 and refused to release their phone records. He was paid $6k by the Trump campaign to change elctoral votes. This seems big.

I hope we find out this happened in all of the states challenging the results of the election. It is so highly illegal and the money trail will make it easy to get those complicit out of government at every level.

Will it? I know it’s only been a few weeks since Biden was inaugurated, but I’ve lost a lot of faith in places where there are elected GOP.

That sounds criminal. How can that be legal income? What a bunch of grifting, lying traitors.

Will anything happen? Will there be an investigation? Does this violate the emoluments clause or is that just for Ivanka’s dad?

More on Texas AG Ken Paxton, a corruption thread favorite:

Shouldn't they be at least clawing back money from Giuliani? The money belongs to the defrauded investors. It's not as if a lawyers fees are for anything tangible.

You’d have to prove that Giuliani was in on the fraud, by co-conspiring or aiding and abetting.

That’s not what the article said. Where does it say the payment was to change electoral votes? It’s quite clear that the payment was for security fees for a meeting.

The Trump campaign called it “recount legal consulting” and Finchem says it was for “crowd control and security costs.” Those two things are... different. Does Finchem even have a security company? Because he’s not a lawyer.
