None of this is surprising. Alito was a member of a Princeton alumni group that attempted to limit the admission of women and minorities and wanted to restrict birth control. He has always been a bigot and a Christian nationalist and it's now recorded on tape. And that his wife is equally bad, well, we had figured that one out already.

John Roberts comes off well in these tapes. Despite being entrapped into the recording and a lot of leading questions, he sounds reasonable and well, not like the equivalent of a Christian Taliban follower, which is what Alito sounds like. We can only hope Alito resigns soon. Although we'll probably not be that lucky since no one else would want him.

True--if he truly had an interest in the reputation of the court, he would have done something beyond the voluntary policing of ethics and he'd be actively shoving Alito off to his retirement.

Roberts is weak. Just like McConnell who didn’t have the patriotism to find Trump guilty in the senate for J6. Agree completely that Roberts has overseen the destruction of the Supreme Court.

The wife of Supreme Court Justice Samuel Alito said that she wants to get back at people who raised a controversy after she and the justice were criticized last month for flying politically affiliated flags at their homes.
