A month ago when we did this, getting in line an hour before the doors open was about standard. now we're due for dose #2 - how early are people lining up in the morning for these 8AM fairfax county clinics?
FWIW, went to Falls Church location this morning at 6:45AM for 8AM clinic. I was in the 30s (numberswise) and my husband delivered kids a few minutes before 8 and we were home by 9:15AM. Very efficient.
I got in line at the FFX clinic today at 8am. I was 115 and was out by 10am.
I wouldn't go first thing in the morning. Lately, there's been no line past 11:00 am.
Our nanny took our daughter to the Falls Church clinic today around 11:30 or so and said there was no line.
I took my daughter to the clinic on Rte 1 last Monday. We got there at 9 AM, were number 51, and had no wait. We were out in 20 minutes. I think people are going early to ensure they get the shot, so there's no lines even just a little bit later.
We went to the Mount Vernon location after school today (arrived around 4:00), and were in and out in about fifteen minutes. Most of the time was spent filling out the form. They were updating the website with the status of their supply, and as of 2:45, they had approximately 100 shots available at every location except Springfield, which was out. For some reason, they allocated fewer shots to that location.
